With only a few weeks left until graduation, the students are getting ready to leave, but are still giving back around the family as much as possible.

Brian S., Anthony D., Caleb C., Vickie T., and Vicky K. have volunteered to be on waitstaff, serving the family during meals, which they are doing with delight.

An exit seminar for the parents and graduates was held. Matthew C., father of June graduate Allie C. was present at the exit seminar and shared his experience, strength and hope with the parents.

Allie C. also came up and reunited with her friends in Family Six. She spent time making music, singing, and laughing with her companions.

Alex B. received the responsibility of shadowing inside the family.

Paul Geer, Family Six Leader and choral director was invited with The Family Foundation School Chorus to perform in Albany for PBS.

The tape will be broadcast in March 2009. Philip D., Chris M., Paul P., Tyler W., Regina C., Caitlin F., and Vicky K. were among the participants who had the opportunity to attend such a delightful event.

Celebrating with a food break in Pizza Hut, Vicky K., Caleb C., and Tyler W. spent a Saturday running in an 8K race. Caleb earned third place in his age division, 15 to 19-yearolds. Instead of a medal, Caleb received a little pine tree, which he generously gave to Tommy Cummings, race coordinator. Annie Ducey, staff, also participated in the race and chaperoned this enjoyable occasion.

Last month the family exceeded an 85% average, earning them a cheesecake prepared by Family Leader Paul Geer.

Family Six enjoyed Thanksgiving and the quality time that was spent with their family.
