New Year’s Skit

The gym was filled with laughter as Family Foundation School students displayed their acting abilities on stage on January 1.

One of the more important events of the Winter Break for the students at The Family Foundation School is the New Year’s Day skits. It is tradition that students in the families write, direct, and perform skits in front of the entire school.

Christian H. said, “There is a lot of time and effort put in from the students.”  This year ideas ranged from knock-offs of How the Grinch Stole Chirstmas called The Loo who Stole Christmas to Winnie the Poo to a meeting in the doctor’s office.

Malik P. said, “It took a lot of courage for kids to get on stage. It was very enjoyable.”

Some Families did mock skits, and some wrote real-life stories. Family Two did a skit about a student’s stay at FFS.

Even though many students were nervous, they still had a great time. The performances really showed the talent that many students neglect to exhibit during the average school day.
