Bowling Like a Pro

Family Foundation School students freshened up their bowling skills at Fox Lanes Bowling in Hancock. The experience helped students get together and have fun playing a few simple rounds of bowling.

When the students arrived, they immediately exchanged their shoes for bowling shoes and started bowling in small groups. Within the hour students refreshed themselves with soda and chips, compliments of Fox Lanes Bowling.

Emily T., an FFS sophomore, had the opportunity to bowl with her family, who was visiting her from Florida. “It was so much fun. My favorite part was when my little brother taught me how to bowl without using the bumpers. And I made a strike!” said Emily.
Emily’s family spent the day with FFS students and offered their bowling skills.

Many students sported their honed bowling skills, while others rocked the “granny roll.”

Family Six had a dose of healthy competition in their bowling expedition. Roxi Losicco brought in cheesecake, and Kurt Hock had the idea to turn the cake into a prize. The winners were best bowler, worst bowler and bowler with most gutter balls.

Samantha F., a Family Six bowling champ, won a piece of the coveted cake for her achievement of the most gutter balls.

Students certainly enjoyed the trip to Fox Lanes Bowling.
