Ryan W. does not live the “boring” lifestyle that most Family Foundation School students fear. “My life is still spontaneous, fun, and eventful,” said Ryan.
He attends school full time at Suffolk Community College. He works for his father on the side. He usually hangs out in the city because of the abundance of things to do.
The most crucial part of Ryan’s sobriety is attending meetings. He usually attends five meetings a week. When asked if life was hard after graduation, Ryan replied, “It wasn’t that bad at first because I went to meetings.”
Aside from meetings, his biggest help is his sponsor, friends and family.
