Out With the Old, In With the New

No more boxes, extra shipping fees, and no more hassles! The Family Foundation School is moving from old-fashioned to high tech with its new online school store! Parents will now be able to shop online for their kids and purchase items that are FFS approved.

The current school store offers almost anything from program books to hygiene products; they are purchased by students checking off the items on a list. The lists are then collected by a school store crew and brought down to the store, separated into individual bags and delivered to the students. This process takes a substantial amount of time.

IT manager, Shari Carroll, designed and is now operating the new online store. “Parents sometimes send some things kids can’t use. I don’t sell stuff that students can’t have, like products in aerosol cans. My website is through Mary Kay, so what they have I can provide.”

Parents who have children attending FFS can email her for information on the school store and receive a 20% discount when ordering through her website.

With the new online store, parents can also go to www.riteaid.com, www.drugstore.com or any similar website and order the desired items.

To cut extra shipping and handling fees, the order delivered to The Family Foundation School at 431 Chapel Hill Road Hancock, NY 13783.

The new store is designed so that parents know what their children are using and what their money is being spent on. Although the store is going online, the on-campus store will continue to operate for program items, school supplies, and emergency hygiene for new students.

Parents who are interested in the online school store or have any questions, should contact ShariCarrollmk@gmail.com.
