The Lady Falcons Score 29 Points Against the Roscoe Blue Devils

In one of the best games of their season, the Lady Falcons scored 29 points against the Roscoe Blue Devils’ 53 in an aggressive match at Roscoe, N.Y. on January 23. The Falcons scored more points in the game than any other this year.
The Falcons went to work from the start. They took an early lead with help from leading scorer Sheree B.’s 2 points in the first quarter and 5 in the second. The Falcons scored 18 points in the first half.
The Falcons were unable to hold their lead as Blue Devils’ leading scorer, Amanda Ladenhaug, carried her team with 19 points in the first half, giving the Blue Devils a comfortable lead of 27-18 by halftime.
The Lady Falcons continued to play hard in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to beat the Blue Devils. Ladenhaug pitched in another 6 points for a total of 25 by the end of the night. The Blue Devils scored 16 points in the third quarter while the Falcons scored 6.
Sheree dropped another 4 points in the third quarter for a total of 11. “It was awesome to watch the girls work together,” said Falcons’ Denise T.
The Blue Devils continued to push ahead with another 10 points in the fourth quarter as the Falcons scored five. The final score was 53-29.
