Heather G., Family One June 2008 program graduate from the Family Foundation School, is in her senior year of high school in New Milford, Connecticut, where she lives with her mother. Being a sober senior in high school, Heather occupies her free time by hanging out with her friends, going to movies, bowling, and helping her mother around the house.
Although she sometimes struggles getting along with her family, she prays every day and has learned how to work it out without reverting back to old ways. Heather advises future graduates to “stay truthful to yourself and do the right thing. Keep your family close, and take every day as a new day.”
