Neal B., who left The Family Foundation School in October of 2008, is doing well. He is living with his parents in Milford, Connectitut and has been attending meetings devotedly. Neal contends that although it has not been easy, he is loving his life in all it is chaos.
Neal has made many new friends and has also reconnected with old friends. “They support me. They know I can’t drink or do drugs, and it’s not even a question in their minds,” he said.
Neal has struggled with trying not to control his brother’s actions and make him live the AA way of life.
“I’ve learned so much since I left,” he said.
Neal has strong plans for the future. This month he started taking classes at a tech school, working to become an automobile-mechanic.
Neal plans to visit often and keep in contact with all his friends from FFS.
