“It was a pretty quiet month” reported Sergio B., about the events in Family Two. Aside from the family’s “cabin fever trip” and the new coat of paint that Scott M. gave the family, all else has been quiet.
The family has been overtly charitable and unselfish, even sparing two of its most senior girls, Jessica B. and Mary F., to help out some other families. Jess went to Family Six, while Mary went to Family Seven. “We can afford to do that because we had so many strong girls who were willing to step up,” Sid Paraham, one of the Family Leaders, commented. By all appearances, this has proven true. Since then Sarah V. got a buddy, Lily G., and Emily M. got buddying and shadowing.
The girls, however, are not the only members of the family stepping up. Will R. got off sandals, shadow, and family blackout. Sergio further believes that he has been making a lot of progress. Sergio and Ted W. received junior sponsoring. It appears that the family as a whole has been moving in a good direction, although they’re not perfect. “Of course we have bad days,” Sergio said, but he also reveals how the family reacts: “We always manage to work through them.”
