Family Three has seen a few changes in the month of March. With the arrival of Lexi S. from Family One, the visit of Sheila B. from Family Four, and the departure of Angela O., the family is going through many adjustments.
Lexi came to Family Three this month from Family One to be closer to Nanci Newcomb who worked with her back in Family Seven. She’s been adjusting well and getting used to the new family while continuing her program work with Nanci and enjoying her last few months at the school.
Sheila B., a native of Family Four, has been doing a tour of all the families and spent a week in Family Three.
Angela O., a student in Family Three for the last 22 months, said goodbye to the family on March 17, 2009.
With Angela’s departure, Shelby R. was given the responsibility of junior sponsoring and shadowing. In addition, Denise T. was given back her junior sponsoring responsibilities and got off family blackout. She was elated to be able to talk to her parents again.
Shari M. returned to her work study position in the counseling office after having been gone for a few months. She is very eager and excited to be back at the job.
John A., Gil M., Danny R. and Matt S. all made the Golf Team, while Denise T., Kassia B., Alena T., and Brenda M. will be playing on the Girl’s Softball Team.
Family Three welcomed Pam Allen’s eight new puppies into the family. “The kids are great with the puppies,” Allen said.
All in all, the month of March in Family Three has been quite eventful.
