Family One staff and students welcomed spring with open arms. The family spent a lot of time outside in April playing games and hanging out.

Family Leaders Mike and Robin Ducey had separate men’s and women’s groups for the kids to try and get some stronger fellowship and support in the family.

This month, Matt W. and Georgia P. received anchor pins and became residential assistants. Nicole K. was given the responsibility of junior sponsoring. Dave K and Greg R. received the responsibilities of buddying and shadowing.

Greg went on his first home since his arrival at The Family Foundation School this month. “It’s crazy how things happen, because one moment you’re on ‘no socks,’ and can’t go anywhere without two people watching you, then, as soon as you change your outlook, all these good things start to happen. That’s what happened to me this month. Life is good,” Greg commented.

June graduate Andrew S. went on a home visit to complete his enrollment in the University of Mary Washington.

Ethan M. had an audition at Montclair University for their “elite chorus.” He is still waiting to hear back from them.
