This month in Family Two Max R. and Ignacio A. received buddy and shadowing, and Demitri S. received junior sponsoring. Daphne Y. in now a girl’s dorm leader. Sean S. has moved from Family Four into the family. Family Two welcomed Tyler B. and Lily G. Family Two and the entire school also welcomed a new staff member Willy Williamson.
Many girls from Family Two made the softball team including Sarah V., Erika C., Emily T., Joslyn P. and Nadine N. “We wish them all well,” said Family Leader Sid Parham. Patricia H. and Kirby C. are both in chorus and are looking forward to the chorus trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Family leader Audra Towsley is hoping to be able to bring the girls in the family on a camping trip soon.
“The students are really working on being compassionate and understanding towards one another and practicing the Twelve Steps in all of their affairs,” said Towsley. “They are also working on practicing principles above personalities,” she continued.
The students in the family welcomed the new season by enjoying outdoor activities such as, volleyball, basketball, football, soccer, and many other fun activities.
