The Family Falcons Boys’ golf team tee’d off for a second time against the Sullivan West Wildcats on April 22nd. Unfortunately, the ball wasn’t rolling in the cup the way the Falcons planned and they lost to Sullivan West for a second time.
The Falcons’ number one golfer, Andrew A., couldn’t get his game going in the beginning, scoring eight over par after four holes.
After working the kinks out of his swing, Andrew turned his game around and played 3 over par the rest of the way out, finishing with a 47.
Falcon golfer Gillan M. also got off to a rough start but turned his game around finishing with a score of 50 strokes. Gillan said, “I enjoyed the match even though I didn’t play to the best of my ability. It was a learning experience and I look forward to playing Sullivan West again.”
No other Falcon golfer scored under 47 strokes, but the players are hopeful they’ll start winning due to the improvements they have made since the beginning of the season.
