This month Family Five has been doing well and is getting all geared up for spring. Family leaders Pete and Caren Jacques are planning a few local hikes to get into the spring spirit.
Family Five’s senior members are continuing to meet with staff member, John “JB” Broce, to keep up the family unity and learn what they can do to be of more service to the family. According to Caren Jacques, the family’s biggest struggle is the “middle-of-the-road” kids who haven’t quite grasped the program and principles but don’t necessarily want to go back to their old behaviors.
“What makes our family strong is the very serious spiritual connection they have with their Higher Powers. Many of the kids have reconnected with their old religion as well,” explained Caren.
“Now the family is preparing for graduation. And working on being more respectful towards one another,” said upcoming graduate Christian H.
Family Five has been enjoying the weekends in the spring sun playing guitar, volleyball, and basketball.
