This month in Family Seven, there has been a lot of excitement for everyone in different ways.

Max L. and Claire V. received anchors, giving them the privilege of a Resident Assistant as well as showing the school how much improvement they have made since their arrival at The Family Foundation School.

With less than a month left until June graduation, the students graduating from high school and the program, Gianfranco V., Nat L., Claire V., Andrew D., Mary F., and Max L. have been working hard to pass their classes, get support groups, and continue to help out the students staying after graduation.

Rosie E., Max L., Nat L., Andrew D., and Evan P. are a part of the Family Singers and David M., and Evan also participated in the Show Choir Pit Band. Because of their contributions in the FFS chorus, they had the opportunity to participate in the North American Music Festival, in Hershey, Pa. and perform on Family Day, May 9 at FFS.

Three students have been invited to attend an A.A. Convention which will help them better understand the 12 Steps, as well as strengthen their programs.

Congratulations to Nat L. who has been accepted into Montclair State University’s music program; its called John J. Cali School of Music. “I had my doubts, but I put the fears I had about not being good enough aside and I was persistent in getting help and spending a lot of time on my audition music,” said Nat.
