Chris B. was elected June Student of the Month.
When he heard the announcement, Chris was surprised.
“It’s the last thing that I thought I would get because two and a half years ago I was shooting up heroin,” said Chris.
Chris turned 18 when he was at the school for two months; that gave him the opportunity to leave the school. However he made the decision to stay, and his life has unfolded in ways he didn’t believe were possible.
He has been active in his program, working hard in school and doing a good job as the Physical Education intern.
Chris has been at the Family Foundation School for 26 months, and continues to give back as much as he can before he leaves.
