ADHD and bipolar disorders have become relatively big issues worldwide, especially in the U.K. This is why Polly Greetham and Danny Horan came to New York from the BBC (British Broadcasting Company) to make a documentary on these disorders. Horan and Greetham hope to raise awareness and show people how to recognize these disorders and deal with them properly.
They have already visited NYU Hospital, Columbia University Hospital, and Western Psychiatric Institute as well as support groups in NYC. The Family School presents another point of view for their film. Greetham and Horan came to the States because the treatment programs in the U.K are not as efficient or advanced. They plan on returning to the Family Foundation School in a month or so to begin actual filming of their documentary.
