Student of the Month

FFS staff and students have chosen Paul P. as the September Student of the Month. “It is an honor. I’m happy people think that I’m worthy of it. I have only done what people tell me to do,” said Paul. Until coming to The Family Foundation School, Paul was involved in a negative lifestyle consisting of alcohol and drug abuse, selling drugs, gang relations, poor relations with his family, and skipping school. However, Paul made a complete 180-degree turn in his life during his stay at FFS. “I grew up in a sense. I wasn’t concerned with the same things as before. I was more worried about being a better person and helping people,” he said. Paul is an RA and is graduating in December. He is a role model for many of the students at the school and makes positive choices.
