Episcopalian Priests Put Together a Barbeque for FFS Students

By Turner L.

Fathers Ralph and Liz Groskoph, Episcopalian priests, have been hosting dinners for the Episcopalian students every first Tuesday of the month in Whiting Hall. The dinners allow Episcopalian students to get together and discuss school-wide issues and how they are dealing with them. It is a great opportunity for them to get closer to one another.

Recently, instead of having dinner in Whiting Hall, the Groskophs invited the students to their house for dinner. Those who attended were Robert O., Ann H., Josh K., Cresse M., Jill M., Rachel R., Valentina A., Anthony W., Rebecca C., and Robert R.

They had the opportunity to go out on the Groskoph’s boat, eat homemade ice cream, make s’mores, watch a movie, and talk about their plans for the future.

All the students enjoyed their visit because it was a good way to have fun and experience something different from the casual dinners at the school. “I thought it was awesome to see a different side of Father Liz and Father Ralph’s life,” said Mann House student Ann H.
