Lake House ran hard in the Labor Day race with Erika C., Nadine N., Matt S., Diego N., Brett K., and Lily G. pushing themselves to the end. Though they ended up in last place, the entire house was rewarded with waffle sundaes after lunch.
Along with a lot of the girls at The Family Foundation School, the girls in Lake House were switched around. Both Sarah V. and Anastasia R. were moved to Mann House. Sarah moved to help support the Mann House girls. Both of the girls also moved to simply add more girls to the formerly small family.
At the end of summer vacation last month, Lake House came in first place in the House Challenge. This should have resulted in an overnight for the house. However, circumstances did not work in their favor and Lake House won’t be getting an overnight. The other night, however, the house brainstormed possibilities for a family trip. “There were a lot of good ideas,” says Erika C. Now it’s just up to the family leaders, Audra and Chris, to pick an activity and a date.
