Natalya Kuchukov, a Russian teacher, and her husband Yuri, the Family Foundation School art teacher, returned from their trip to Russia in early September.
Their time in Russia was eventful. Natalaya took care of her mother and spent time with other family members, including her son in-law and brother.
She also took college classes to become a social worker. She passed the final exams. “Yuri was painting every day,” she said. For fun, the couple went to a ballet, as well as an orchestra and cello concert.
When mentioning a woman in the ballet, Ulsana Lopatkina, Natalaya gave a thumbs up saying, “Is the best.”
The chapel of Saint Xenia Blagennasa was a place Natalaya and Yuri visited often and prayed for everyone here, according to Natalya. The couple is now back and ready for another year of teaching.
