Steve B.
Class of December ‘08
Steve B. arrived at The Family Foundation School in March 2007. Drug and alcohol had taken over his life and he was no longer in control. His stay here lasted 21 long months.
Since graduation, he has been attending college, working at Champs department store, and loving life. Surrounding himself with good, sober people and attending AA and NA meetings have kept him serene and clean.
At first, leaving the school and his friends was hard for Steve. Some of them relapsed and he had had to cut ties with them. Keeping things in perspective has also been a struggle. Staying active has been his strength. He often boxes at the gym with friends and participates in football marathons on the weekends.
Throughout his stay at FFS many people never stopped reaching out to Steve, which is how he acquired a love for helping others.
