The students and staff of the Family Foundation School have chosen Sean C. as the October Student of the Month.
“I wasn’t expecting it,” said Sean C. about the award. “It feels good, and I must be doing something right,” he added.
Drinking, doing drugs, being aggressive with his parents and partying landed Sean C. in a wilderness program before arriving at FFS. “It was all about having fun and partying all the time for me,” he said. “I guess I was just a run-of-the-mill Family School kid.”
Sean C. has made tremendous progress since he came to FFS and has been a remarkable support in Smith House. We are all proud of how committed he is to his recovery.
“The hardest thing for me is to take the compliment of congratulations,” said Sean C.
Sean C. is an R.A. and is the Admissions Department intern. He is graduating this December. He is a positive role model for the students of FFS and he has done a lot to reach out and help the newcomer.
“It’s nice to know that I have the support of the school and my parents behind me,” he said.
