With only a couple weeks left until graduation, the December graduates got a chance to enjoy one last evening off campus on their senior trip. Alexa S., president of the student government, organized the trip.
Twenty graduates, along with three program graduates, were accompanied by staff members Chris Stein, Roxi Losicco, Rick Reeve and Nanci Newcomb.
The trip began with a stop a Midway Lanes in Binghamton where the grads got a chance to put their bowling skills to the test. After working up their appetites, the group enjoyed a dinner of pizza and soda at the bowling alley.
They then traveled to a nearby AA meeting in Binghamton. The students then stopped for icecream before returning to the school.
“The senior trip was actually really fun. Being able to have sober fun with people who are always here for me gives me hope for when I leave the school. I was able to bowl, eat pizza, go to a meeting all in one night and managed to keep myself out of trouble. It’s just crazy to know that there are many things you can do without using drugs and alcohol,” said Lake House graduate Casey W.
