The month of November has been fun-filled and exciting in Mann House as students gear up for the start of basketball season, and anticipates people graduating and going to college. Ezekiel G, Patrick C., Khalfani M. and Thomas O. are among the December graduates heading to college. “It will be a great loss for Mann House, but a great gain for the rest of the world,” said Mann House family leader Joe Petriella.
As a result of the basketball tryouts, which went on over the past few weeks, Candace M., Sarah V., Raven S., and Nicole H. all made the girls team; and JT H., Evan H., Robbie O., and Hunter L. made the boys team. All team members and the whole house are excited about the upcoming season.
Many Mann House students have also stepped up this month, adding to the family’s long list of senior support.
An event that everyone in Mann House is looking forward to is a parent-funded trip for dinner and a movie. Suffice it to say, Mann House has been coming together quite nicely, and the students have been working to help one another along in their programs.
