This month Betton House decided to host a Big 10 meeting because of concerns about what student relationships are based on.
One of the students focused on was Ricky S. who received an anchor this month for being a leader in the family. Since the meeting occurred, the house has been striving for a level of love toward one another where everyone acts in the other’s best interests.
Max Z. received junior sponsoring for his insightful 12- Step abilities and leadership qualities. Adam S. and Jon H. received buddying and shadowing. Kate P. made amends to her previous family, Talbot House, and also received buddying and shadowing.
New student Kayla M. says that the Betton House girls have been more than welcoming towards her, and she feels very well cared for.
Ricky S., Brendan O., Joseph C., and Liz K. will be going home for their first time for Thanksgiving. They are all excited to be with their families again, and ready to face the challenges that it will present.
The guys of Betton House, as a reward and a bonding experience, got to take a day trip to Tommy Cumming’s house where they chowed down on pizza and ice cream while watching football.
