Jens J. rows for scholarship
Jens J. rowed his heart out in The Family Foundation School gym in his effort to become a member of the Rutgers rowing team. To qualify for the team, Jens had to complete a 2k test. His father, Clemens, a rowing coach at Teaneck High School, brought in a rowing machine for Jens to take the test on. With his father cheering him on, Jens completed the test. “I was really happy with the score I got on the 2k. I felt like it was a program experience because at one point I just wanted to give up, but I took it one stroke at a time and got through it.”
