Jordan S. came to The Family Foundation School due to a life of stealing, drugs, lies, and violence. She had no idea how much the school would change her life. Jordan arrived at FFS February 26, 2006. She was in Family Four (Mann House) with Natalya Kuchukov as her sponsor until she left on August 23, 2009.
At first, Jordan was defiant, angry, and unwilling to work the program. She remained in this state of mind until she discovered how many people she had hurt at home and at the school. After this realization, she made numerous changes to her life, and by the time she left 42 months later she was a new person.
While she now attends private school and is building a new life, Jordan still misses The Family School. The best part of being at the school for her was “being able to express feelings without being judged,” and the friends that she made. Her advice to the newcomer is, “Be honest, talk about your feelings.”
