Lake House Gets Out in the Snow for Some Sunday Fun

By Nicole K.

Snow falling, icicles dripping, and footballs flying through the air, this is Sunday—Family School style.

Although there is always church in the morning, Sundays are spent getting exercise, with a bit of fun added in the mix.

Activities Coordinator, Joe Rogalavich, plans the day so the different houses can go head to head in sports like dodgeball, soccer, and a favorite, football.

This past Sunday, Lake House made the most of the cold weather with a football game on the snow- covered fields behind the school. Students dipped and dived past one another in hopes of scoring a touchdown for their team.

Brian S., a Lake House anchor, was a star player making interception after interception; Nelsan B. and other students scored touchdowns for their teams.

Even staff member Willy Williamson got involved in the action; calling the plays and helping kids throw the ball correctly. Lake House kids certainly found it amusing to take some tumbles in the snow, preparing for another favorite pastime, lunch!
