Joanna G.

Class of December ‘08

Before Joanna G. arrived at The Family Foundation School, she described her actions as doing everything wrong. She didn’t go to school, smoked pot, didn’t have a job, and just “hung out.” In December of 2005, she was enrolled at FFS. She has come a long way since then. Joanna didn’t start doing any work on herself until about two years after she arrived, which was one year before her graduation. While attending FFS, she was involved with several sports teams and she was the dog training intern.

Subsequent to leaving FFS, Joanna enrolled in college. She joined a Christian group on campus and plays ultimate Frisbee, as well as soccer. Currently Joanna is working while school is not in session.

Joanna’s advice to the newcomer and all of those who are willing to listen is, “Keep your relationship with God and never give it up, no matter what.”
