Brenda M. arrived at The Family Foundation School in May of 2007. She was sent to the school for cutting classes and getting in trouble with the law. After arriving, Brenda struggled with being honest and had difficulty forming healthy relationships with her peers.
Once she became willing to be honest, things turned around for her. She began working with her sponsor and started to trust the girls in her family. Things began to look bright for her and she received an R.A. pin for all her hard work.
Since graduating the program in June of 2009, Brenda has enjoyed living back in Texas. She has attended AA meetings regularly and is connected to other alumni who have left the school.
She has gone back to high school in Texas to receive her diploma. Although school is challenging, Brenda is doing well and is happy.
