Natasha S.
Left August ‘09
Natasha S. came to The Family Foundation School on July 14, 2008. She was welcomed into Family One (Betton House) by both the staff and students. Natasha had many struggles, the largest of which were problems with boys and dishonesty.
Natasha’s turning point came after an emergency med-trip. “After I went to the ER, I got honest.” While her stay at the school was anything but smooth, she made good use of it and developed the kind of life that now benefits her, and elements of the school remain in her life today.
Natasha left FFS on August 8, 2009. When asked what she missed most about The Family School, she replied, “I miss Joe C., Lana, and the little routines, like singing before we eat. I miss the stupid things.”
Natasha is now in public high school and goes to meetings. She keeps her life manageable by not allowing boyfriends to distract her. Her message to the newcomer and the graduates is, “When you leave, stay honest with at least one person…and be happy.”
