The Stranger (Book Review)

February 26, 2010

By Ross A.

The Stranger is a testament to Albert Camus’ literary prose and ability. After reading this incredible work it was a no-brainer why he received the Nobel Prize for literature for this novel. It is a gripping view of the human psyche and its role in the many seemingly typical occurrences of our lives as well as the atypical. The Stranger shows how the mind works in the not-so-normal aspects of some lives: cheating, insanity and murder. It is essentially the story of a murder that led the murderer to freedom. It is an epic tale that is a must-read.
