You better watch out ... Lake House student Jordan S. winds up to hit Betton House students with a dodgeball, while teammate Aaron Z. gets ready to catch a ball.
FFS Students Line Up to Battle in Dodgeball

The whistle blew and the Houses got ready for a dodgeball competition. On Sunday, January 31, the students at The Family Foundation School lined up in the gym and awaited their turn to compete in games of fun-filled dodgeball.
The first two Houses to compete were Lake and Betton. Lake House came out on top by drilling Betton House’s best players first.
Ted W., an active member of Lake House, came out of nowhere and nailed Betton House member Joe C., giving Lake House the advantage.
Up next were Mann House and Wilson House. At the start of the game Mann House member Josh W. charged to the line in a suicide mission to retrieve ammunition.
“My plan was to get as many dodgeballs for my team as I could handle. It didn’t work out as well as I planned, but I had a good time playing and that’s all that matters,” said Josh. Given the advantage early in the game, Mann House came out on top.
After the Houses played each other once, Talbot and Mann were scheduled to battle for the number one spot.
When the whistle blew Talbot House allowed Mann House to retrieve all of the dodgeballs.
“This strategy was quite odd, but we couldn’t afford to risk getting out,” said Talbot House student Patrick M.
Close to the end of the game Mann House member Kevin B. snagged Patrick M., winning for Mann House.
The competition ended on a fun note, as staff organizer Joe Rogalavich decided to have Talbot, Wilson and Lake House vs. Mann and Betton House.
The game went on for a long time because there were so many people on each team, and ended in a tie, but it was a great way to finish the tournament.
