Betton House Graduate
Shane S., along with other Family Foundation School alumni, visited the school from Scranton, Pa to host an AA meeting in the gym.
He is part of the alumni family because he went to Betton House in Scranton back in August ’06, along with many graduates from FFS who were in recovery and wanted to be in a safe environment while attending college.
Shane drank heavily and used drugs daily. After finding himself miserable and in need of help, he arrived at Betton House, which was under the direction of Mike and Roxi Losicco.
His father, Bill S., went to The Family many years ago and was still in close contact with the Losiccos. The Losiccos helped Bill greatly with taking inventory and learning how to live life on life’s terms.
“With help from Betton House, I am now living an incredible life,” said Shane. He is now attending Marywood University. He is a residential assistant and very involved on campus.
