Located about 15 minutes from Hancock is a cozy bread and breakfast named the Starlight Lodge.
The Starlight Lodge is an elegant bed and breakfast tucked away in the mountains of Pennsylvania. The Lodge is owned by Gerald Fay who bought the lodge from his father, who had owned the lodge since its construction in 1989. Along with a beautiful view, the lodge contains 10 suites, private baths, seasonal activities and a complimentary breakfast.
The Starlight Lodge is a great place to go all year round, with all sorts of activities for any season. Summer activities include boating and fishing on the lake, hiking on the surrounding trails and tracks, and taking out the bikes for a relaxing summer ride. During the winter the Starlight offers cross-country skiing, sledding down the hills and snow-mobile riding during those snowy days. The lodge can hold about 50 to 60 people during special events, such as the lodges famous pink flamingo party, and summer barbeques. There is always something to do at the Starlight Lodge.
The Starlight lodge is the perfect family get-away and even offers special discounts for families of students staying at The Family School. The prices range from $140-285 per night depending on the suite chosen. For more information please visit StarlightLodge.com.
